Terms of Service

EmailAlias is a product of LLMView IT Services ("we," "us," or "our"), operated at emailalias.io. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, API, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By using EmailAlias, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Service Description

EmailAlias is an email privacy intelligence platform that allows you to:

  • Generate unique email aliases that forward incoming mail to your real email address.
  • Manage, enable, or disable aliases to control which services can reach your inbox.
  • Detect data exposures and breaches involving your aliases (Exposure Intelligence).
  • Use custom domains (email91.com or your own verified domain) for alias generation.
  • Send and reply from alias addresses, keeping your real email hidden (Premium).
  • Access the service programmatically via API keys (Premium).
  • Filter spam, tracking pixels, and UTM parameters from forwarded emails.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid, permanent email address. Disposable or temporary email addresses are not permitted.
  • We use passwordless authentication (magic links). You are responsible for securing access to the email account used for login.
  • One account per person. Multiple accounts to circumvent limits are prohibited.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account, including API key usage.
  • Notify us immediately at security@emailalias.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use EmailAlias to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or engage in email abuse.
  • Conduct phishing, social engineering, or impersonation attacks.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful software.
  • Engage in any illegal activity or violate applicable laws.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other individuals.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, sending quotas, warm-up restrictions, or security measures.
  • Create aliases for the purpose of facilitating fraud or deception.
  • Use the service to circumvent email bans or blocks imposed by other services.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the service without our written consent.

Violations result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice. Accounts with bounce rates exceeding 5% or complaint rates exceeding 0.2% will have outbound sending automatically disabled.

5. Plans, Billing & Credits

Free Plan

  • API access with up to 5 API keys

Email Credits

Premium users can purchase additional email credits at $1 per 10,000 emails. Extra credits reset on your billing renewal date each month. Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Billing

  • Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel anytime from Settings. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes do not affect the current billing cycle.

6. Rate Limits & Sending Restrictions

  • Free users: 10 emails/day, 3 per minute, max 2MB per email.
  • Premium users: 350 emails/day (after warm-up), 10 per minute, max 10MB per email.
  • New Premium users undergo a sending warm-up: 50/day (days 1-3), 100/day (days 4-5), 200/day (days 6-7), full limit after day 7 — subject to actual sending history.
  • Emails are sent at a maximum rate of 14 per second to maintain sender reputation.
  • Suspicious activity (duplicate content, rapid sending, excessive recipients) triggers temporary blocks.

7. API Access

Premium users may access the EmailAlias API using API keys generated from Settings. API keys are subject to the same rate limits, sending quotas, and acceptable use policies as the web interface. API keys are hashed before storage and shown only once at creation. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure.

8. Email Processing & Content Filtering

  • Inbound emails are filtered through SpamAssassin and our content filter before forwarding. Emails scored as spam may be blocked or marked.
  • Tracking pixels and UTM parameters are automatically removed from forwarded emails.
  • Outbound emails are checked for spam-like content. Emails flagged by our content filter will be rejected.
  • We do not read, analyze, or store email content. Only metadata is retained.

9. Custom Domains

Premium users may add up to 5 custom domains. Each domain must be verified with proper DNS authentication records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) before aliases can be created. You must own or have authorization to use any domain you add. We reserve the right to remove domains that fail verification or violate these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by EmailAlias and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your data, including your email addresses, aliases, and any content processed through the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmailAlias shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for email delivery failures caused by recipient mail server rejections, spam filtering by third parties, DNS misconfiguration, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

12. Service Availability

  • We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee a specific SLA for the Free plan.
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability with reasonable advance notice.
  • We may use the emergency kill switch to suspend all outbound emails if a critical issue is detected.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive activity, or exceed abuse thresholds (bounce rate >5%, complaint rate >0.2%).

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion:

  • All aliases are permanently deactivated and stop forwarding.
  • All personal data, domains, email logs, API keys, and subscription data are permanently deleted.
  • Active subscriptions should be cancelled before account deletion to avoid further charges.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and by updating the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
